Made the round trip and enjoyed every minute. Paint Day at Port Gibson was quite $ rewarding as I painted six small watercolors and five sold at auction that night. Pretty good for small town support. Took off for Destrehan Sunday morning and arrived for lunch. Enjoyed the quick 'pop-in' visit, checking on things and enjoying the day. Hopefully, they are all lined up (or will be soon) to be able to contribute to the blog with news of the day. I was impressed with the routine they've established. Understand the kids usually make their own lunches but Becky got a head start on them Monday morning... thought it made a good picture. Their vitamins are on top of the sandwiches. Good to be home, I'm worn out! Will tell more and show pics later... KJ
