Due to her fearless determination and despite overwhelming odds, Libi has been chosen to move up to the Big Bad Blue Jets team which is the top of the competitive soccer heap, about as professional as they allow 10 year olds to be in this neck of the woods. We're proud, she's happy and I guess that's as good as it gets. Julia keeps a running commentary going on her private blog (don't forget your password) and there are her usual great sports photos to document the girls progress.Next week Libi and three other BLUE team members will attend a 4 day soccer camp in Tuscaloosa so we've offered the lake house as an overnight camp, figuring they will be too tired to tear up the joint. Should be a good time for all. What ever happened to summer kick back time?

Yep, just goes to show - Libi gives as good as she gets! Right now, Lib is still floating somewhere between clouds seven and nine - all she's thinking about is spending 4 days with her friends and without her parent. Should I remind her yet that she'll be playing soccer from 8am to 5pm everyday? Nah... she'll find out soon enough.
I'm so proud of you! This is going to be my 7-8 year and you're probably better than me! I'm so jealous! Libi is so cool, ice cubes are jealous! Love you! type back!
