Then And Now

Here are a few pictures of how it was and how it's changed in twenty years. Images enlarge with a click.

First the boathouse... someone has replaced the doors which were interior in the first place and undoubtedly rotted away, but nothing has been touched on the inside... chairs, life jackets and fishing pole still there.

The well manicured lakeside area, from in front of the boat house looking across to the house lot with dock. I'd forgotten how much work had gone into planting and arranging it all. Now it's solid growth including a wisteria vine that has taken over the pines, no longer the little saplings in the middle of the first picture.

The steps to the lake, once a centerpiece of the lot, now can hardly be seen for the thicket that has taken over.
