The pics here show Bob's boys... Colin is almost nine and is playing hocky like his dad did at his age. Lane is four and is very shy. However, the offer of toys I just happened to have in my purse brought him out of his shell... funny how that works every time! I couldn't help noticing how Lane resembles early photos of Joel at his age.
Colin is quite a cut-up, seen here reacting to an attack by camera flash. Jack took the pic of me and the boys, a little blurry, but you get the idea.
We were able to get a flight back home on Saturday after the brunch at Bob and Kecia's house. Jack seems resolved that it was for the best, a blessing that it didn't drag on for years and she didn't suffer terribly. She had been bedridden for 9 weeks. After a rousing 'Happy Birthday' song to Joel, we left with them all promising to pay a visit and enjoy our lake house. Guess we'd better get busy with finishing it up!
